Podcast guestShamil Burr's Lost and Found
Original rock band built around longtime friends Trent Hill (bass) and TJ (guitar, vocals), with Bo on lead vocals and Eric on drums.
Shamil Burr's Lost and Found is the latest project from Trent Hill and TJ, who met years ago and played together for close to ten years in the band No One. The band's name is built from three letters of each member's last name. They released a five-song EP over Thanksgiving weekend, have six more songs in the works, record at home and aim to play about once a month at bars that let them be loud.

- Their earlier band, No One, started around 2015 out of the open jam at Villa.
- The band records everything but drums at home in GarageBand. Drummer Eric records the drums at home and sends the tracks over.
- They chose to release short five-song EPs so they get more chances to play with titles and album art.
- Trent has played bass for almost 40 years. As a kid Trent wanted to play upright bass but was too small and played cello instead.
- Trent played trumpet for almost two years by ear before teachers found out Trent couldn't read music.
- Trent's first band spent about two and a half years on the road through the GMA booking agency, which bands nicknamed the "Great Mileage Agency."
- In Rapid City, Trent was pulled onstage to play bass on three songs with Warrant at the start of the Cherry Pie tour, because their bass player wouldn't leave the card table.
- Trent's bands opened for Slave Raider, Limited Warranty and Nelson.
- Recommended guests: Ted, Mark Angie, Slug of Atmosphere and anyone from Wookiefoot.
