Brett Schmidt

Bassist in the Scott Weiland tribute Crack in the Halo and former bassist of the metal band Concrete Injection.

Brett Schmidt plays bass in Crack in the Halo, a tribute to Scott Weiland that covers Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. He started on guitar in junior high, learning by jamming along to Metallica, and spent years making home recordings on a four-track with a friend under a string of made-up band names. Brett switched to bass in the mid-2000s with the original alternative band Saltwater, which later became the cover band Sugar Laced Morning. He then played about 10 years in the metal band Concrete Injection before coming back to the stage through the Ziggy's and Shaw's open jams.
