Will Maravelas

Minneapolis

Owner and engineer of 1459 Studios in Minneapolis, metal guitarist in Plague of Stars and other bands, and a gear-review YouTuber.

Will Maravelas owns and runs 1459 Studios in Minneapolis, where he records mostly metal and punk bands, plus anything with a guitar in it. He is also a working musician who plays in several metal bands, including Plague of Stars, which he has been in for 13 years. Will learned to record by interning at a studio called Actual Sound Studios as a teenager. He co-founded 1459 Studios with a friend, and it has been open for about 16 or 17 years. He also runs a YouTube channel about music, recording and Minnesota, with gear reviews, interviews and live sessions.
