Shad Christensen is a singer and guitarist who leads Seattle Rain, an era tribute to '90s grunge and Seattle-influenced hard rock. He also has a Nirvana tribute called Scentless Apprentice and an acoustic duo with drummer Kevin. Shad taught himself guitar at 16 by picking out "Paint It Black" on a guitar at home. He played for years without a band, then started one around the time COVID began, through the musician site BandMix. That band, first called Generation Angst, became Seattle Rain once drummer Aaron joined after a jam at Shaw's.
