Rebel Queens

All-women hard rock band started in 2011 by vocalist Tiffany, with Katie Word on rhythm guitar, Lou Block on bass and keytar player Erica.

Rebel Queens started in 2011, when Tiffany set out to build an all-women rock band in the spirit of Joan Jett and the Runaways. The band's name comes from a Runaways song. The lineup now includes rhythm guitarist Katie Word (with the band about 13 years), bassist Lou Block (about three years) and keytar player Erica. The band has played Sturgis and the Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles and tours the region.

Fun facts from the interview

  • Tiffany had never sung before starting the band in 2011.
  • The band's name comes from a song by the Runaways, and the band covered a lot of Runaways songs early on.
