Podcast guestNate Burge
Drummer of about 15 years who plays with County Line, Vintage Revival and the Jason Paulson Band, and builds his own suitcase kick drum.
Nate Burge got started in school band, where he was handed a trombone before switching to drums. With his friend Zach he formed a teen cover band that played county fairs. His first paid gig came at 17 with the Jason Paulson Band, and he played with Jason for about 13 to 14 years. In 2018 he played the First Avenue main stage in a Minnesota outlaw country tribute put together by Mark Joseph. He now plays with County Line alongside Brady Moryn, a project that started as a duo after Audio Scars, played its first gig at the OP in Hector and logged more than 80 gigs in its first year. Nate also handles booking, branding and the website for Vintage Revival, which played the Minnesota State Fair with BOB FM. He plays 80 to 100 shows a year.
