Johnny Williams

Storytelling singer-songwriter in a modern folk rock style, behind the Outlaw Poet EP and the upcoming album Tales of the Outlaw Poet.

Johnny Williams is a singer-songwriter who describes his sound as modern folk rock. For him the story comes first, and the music is there to carry it. He grew up surrounded by music, from old country like Willie Nelson and Marty Robbins to Bob Seger, Tom Petty, Jim Croce and Matchbox Twenty. Johnny released the four-song Outlaw Poet EP, drawn from a 10-song concept album called Tales of the Outlaw Poet that tells a story from start to finish. He plays solo with his guitar at bars and showcases, and he was finishing a home studio with a vocal booth so he can record and work with other musicians.
